Wool bedding for arthritis patients
I read this article in one of medical magazines. I don"t remember the name of the magazine, and I do not read it very often. Anyway, there was once an article about some research that was conducted in one of the old people"s homes in Scotland. The researchers were testing the effects of using wool bedding on patients" health and general feeling. Eighty percent of the inhabitants suffered from arthritis, whereas the remaining ones complained about seasonal muscle and joint pain. All of the inhabitants were given a set of bedding made of genuine merino sheep wool. They were asked to use it for two weeks. After this time, the researchers visited the home again to interview the patients. A great majority of those who suffered from arthritis reported noticing a significant difference. They woke up without pain, or their symptoms were much weaker. Those who had not been diagnosed with arthritis also reported some specific results like sleeping more peacefully and feeling much calmer. The results of the research show that wool bedding definitely has a positive effect on joint and muscle pain. So if you also tend to complain about such symptoms, don"t hesitate. Discard your old bedding and try out something natural.
