The drawing of a gold bullion bar
My son has just turned six. A couple of days ago he drew a gold bullion bar as homework for his art classes. This is how it happened. He started his first year at school a few weeks ago and so far he"s been doing well. He"s even better than other kids at maths and spelling. They have a lot of art classes at school, which is something really important to me. I want my children to develop their artistic skills. Nobody knows what will turn out to be useful in the future. But anyway, he seems to like maths and physical education a bit more than writing or art and music classes. Last week they were given homework by their art teacher. My son drew the picture when I was not home, there was only our babysitter to look after him (we still prefer her to be here sometimes even if our son is not in kindergarten any more). The picture was attached to the refrigerator when I came home from work. This is what I saw: A huge living room with beautiful, colourful walls, some dogs running around (probably dalmatians), and my son (a grown-up version) in a dark suit and a tie. He was opening a cupboard (which was really a safe) and he was putting something inside. It was a brick , I thought. But later my son explained it was actually a gold bullion bar and he also added he wants to be a very rich investor when he grows up. I am so curious where he got that idea from!
